Unit AP Psychology
This is a full year course offered to qualifying Juniors and Seniors who wish to participate in the secondary equivalent of an introductory college course in Psychology. The course will focus on introducing students to the systematic and scientific study of behavior and mental processes of human beings. A variety of demonstrations, articles, and projects will be utilized to meet the goal of instructing students with varying levels of scientific and empirical approaches.

Students will study the core concepts in the field of Psychology, identify and exam the different approaches psychologist use in the study of human beings.

Students will prepare to do acceptable work on the AP Psychology Exam.

Students will continually work on their critical thinking skills and utilize those skills gain or refined to analysis psychological case work.

Students, by the end of this course, will develop an appreciation for how psychologist think and the benefits that many psychologist have made to society.
